The mobile system gives you the possibility to measure the coal flow of up to 8 pipes of one mill at the same time. When you’re finished with one mill you can move the system to the next mill. You get the distribution of the coal flow on all the pipes and the total mass flow (after calibration) plus a velocity measurement for all pipes. To measure you have to use two or three sensors per pipe. To avoid coal coming out of the pipe when changing the sensor we recommend our dust free fitting in combination with a ball valve. The data is collected, stored and displayed on a notebook computer.
With this setup you need only two persons with a walky talky to balance your coal flow. One person can read the data and the second person adjust the coal flow on the valves. When you are finished at one mill you carry the sensors and the mobile system with all the cables to the next mill.
